I know many of you are waiting for the various statbooks and prints and I want to apologize for how long it's taken. Nevertheless I didn't and I'm terribly sorry for the silence. I replied to a few comments and I guess I must have tricked myself into thinking that I published an update. I first off want to apologize for the radio silence. Thanks again for your patience and I look forward to getting all the goodies out to you soon. If you you're supposed to get the 5e statbook and don't have it, send me a message and I'll get you sorted. Next week is GenCon and I'm currently prepping for that so I wont get to printing the 5e stats until GenCon is over with. If you have any ideas on the tables, Id be happy to fix them up prior to printing. I broke it down by Aquatic, Arctic, Coastal, Desert, Forest, Jungle (wetter or denser forest), Grassland, and Flexible (could really be found anywhere).

Sorting by ecology was a really tricky one since some are very specific ecosystems.

Just wanted to let you all know we pushed, what I hope to be, the final update to the 5e Atlas Statbook! I had to do some reformatting for print, and I also added some handy tables which should be useful, allowing you to see the lists by CR and by ecology. I will be putting these into layout as soon as possible to get out to you all. I've now recieved the manuscripts for the remaining Pathfinder stats and Fate, and will be recieving Dungeon World shortly, I'm checking with the writers on the status of the others.

But nevertheless getting there.Īlso, I finally ordered the art prints, found a reputable art printer that makes good quality prints at a decent rate (cat print), and so they've been ordered with a bunch of extras (in case others want prints as well). I've been laying out one of the manuscripts, but it was received with little formatting, so I've been manually fixing all of the 100+ blocks, which has been very time consuming. Filled with travel, family time, birthdays and holidays, in addition to contractors being busy as well for the same reasons. November and December were terrible months for me to get anything done. I want to provide this update for me to stay honest with the progress and keep you all in the loop of whats going on.

Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.I hope everyone had a good new years break. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.įor printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching.
